I am a licensed psychologist in Oregon, Washington and California and earned my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2009 and my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in 2002. I completed the psychoanalytic training program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles in 2026.

As a therapist, my style is warm, supportive, interactive, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create an atmosphere of curiosity and compassion to promote exploration and change. My primary treatment approach is rooted in contemporary relational psychoanalysis, which helps you to face and overcome difficulties by increasing insight, making your motivations and emotions more known, and using the therapeutic relationship as a window to understanding how you relate to yourself and others. I also work from the lens of the interrelated complexity of our social world and identities with our psychic and emotional health.
