I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Oregon and earned my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2009 and my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in 2002. I have worked with adults in a variety of settings and have specialized training and experience in working with college and graduate students, BIPOC, veterans, and LGBTQ+ patients.

As a therapist, my style is warm, supportive, interactive, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create an atmosphere of curiosity and compassion to promote exploration and change. My primary treatment approach is contemporary relational psychoanalytic therapy, which helps you to face and overcome difficulties by increasing insight, making your motivations and emotions more known, and using the therapeutic relationship as a window to understanding how you relate to others. In addition, I integrate practical elements of addressing your thought process and developing coping skills into therapy. The combination of these approaches allows me to tailor my approach in order to best meet your individual needs.
